Above news snippet is regarding the resolution in UN General Assembly. It is indeed a strange world if the assembly refused to insert mention of Hamas, and even refused to demand that the hostages be released!!

1. British economy damage due to world war.
2. Post-war global decolonization sentiments.
3. Post war mutiny within the Armed forces. Eg. Naval mutiny, 1946.
4. Focal armed uprisings like Bose.
5. Anti colonial movements in Europe.
6. UN charter 1945 emphasizing self governance.
7. Most importantly, endless sacrifices of lakhs of freedom fighters.

This seems to be a war being fought by the US ’till the last Ukrainian standing’. What are Ukrainians fighting for? For freedom? Like Tibetans? No. They are not fighting for freedom. They are fighting a war at their President’s bidding for his right to go back on his promise. The promise that Ukraine will stay neutral, will stay out of NATO, and will not be a parking garage for US missiles pointed towards Russia.
If US wishes peace, why doesn’t it reciprocate? Ask Russia to allow US missiles to be stationed in Ukraine and in return, invite Russia to place its pointy toys in Cuba.

Travel.

I have seen this in numerous examples. Keep your shoes on. And you are sure to leave outsized imprints on the sands of time.

I went to the Sisi Museum in Vienna. Queen Sisi was an ordinary lady. So travel, like your life depends on it.

For, your contribution during your lifetime depends a lot on how much you have travelled.

Glory of Judiciary was lost when SC Judge who ruled against Indira Gandhi was DENIED to become CJI & was Superceded by a Puppet who ruled in HER favour. What did other judges do? Protest? No. They turned blind eye to this Violation of Justice to keep enjoying their Perks.

Glory of Bharat’s Judiciary was lost when SC opened gates at Midnight to hear pleas to Stop Capital Punishment to a Terrorist Yakub Memon.

It was lost on numerous occasions when Corrupt Politicians were granted More Bails than Number of Days in Jails.

It was lost when SC didn’t allow Banks’ request to Confiscate Passport of Vijay Mallya and later questioned CBI “How did they Flee Country”.

It was lost when SC Cancelled MANDATORY Declaration of Assets by SC & HC Judges to make it VOLUNTARY in 2009.

Glory was lost when SC Collegium DECLINED Judicial Reforms suggested by Modi Govt to bring Transparency in SC & HC Judges Appointments. It would have ENDED SC Collegium’s Hegemony.

Why Opposition? Fear of losing chance to FIX OWN People in ECOSYSTEM?Or Financial?Or Both?

Biden’s single biggest sin has been to bless the Ukraine war. He could have simply told Ukraine to abide by its promise of remaining neutral and forget about having US missiles stationed there, pointing at Moscow.

The whole world is in a state of turmoil and countless billions have been pushed into hardship due to inflation, due to this one issue.

Alternatively, he could have offered the Russians that he would station US missiles in Ukraine, and in return, welcomes Russian missiles to station in Cuba.

Tragically laughable proposition.
